You'll get four "programs." The first three each have three, unique trials (I haven't played the fourth yet, but assume it's the same). I violated my "Never buy early access games" rule for Outlast Trials and do NOT regret it! It's a great game-very disturbing horror, but also the potential for lots of hilarious fun with the right group. Also, the lighting has to be improved because seems very artificial, as if suddenly there were dark areas and light areas with no mid-point, as-well night vision should be further reduced and have more contrast in light areas to know when to remove them, feels like a green filter.īut anyway still a good game that I recommend to play in coop (I don't recommend it to play it alone because the majority of mechanics are done for more than one person, you can still play it alone, but it will be tedious to keep the AI away from the checkpoints. And instead of increase the number of enemies in higher difficulties, make them more dangerous so that makes the chases more intense and interesting not like healing gameplay arcade factor. For now is in Early Access, they will change a lot of things, so maybe it will change, but they must change in my opinion, the health system, the stealth system mainly because the AI loses you if you crawl in front of any object, and it makes hiding places obsolete. I have passed all the maps with all the difficulties alone and with friends. Not because of playing with other people, what is very funny to play with, but the overall experience even alone I'ts more arcade play like DBD but better in my opinion. In Outlast Trials, the fear factor is not the same. The soundtrack and the stealth system is so well done, and it makes a good, terrific experience to play. Many years ago, I passed Outlast 1 and 2 in lunatic mode with all trophies because I'm in love with this game.
